As we all know the Tata Motors Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP are performance oriented cars which adds mechanical changes under the hood with some cosmetics changes as well as the design.
Tata Motors JTP twins get a wider 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, with a sporty looking front bumper and side skirts, ORVM covers with contrasting colours, glossy finished black roof, with a rear spoiler and JTP badges on the front grill, front fender and on a rear boot lid.
On the inside, the interior has all black finish to it, with red accents on AC vents, with contrast red stitching on the steering wheel, seats and the gear shift lever as well.
On the Tata Nexon the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine produces 110bhp and 170nm of torque, but on the Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP, the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine has been retuned to produce more power of 114bhp and 150nm of torque, which is more than the Tata Nexon.
The increased performance comes from new intakes and twin pipe exhaust system. The power is sent to the front wheels via 5-speed manual transmission which has been optimised for the sporty performance.
The Tata Motors JTP twins also get metal pedals and two driving modes to choose from one is Sports mode and the City mode.
Tata Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP are also equipped with an eight-speaker audio system with 5-inch Connect Next infotainment touchscreen.
The standard safety features include ABS plus EBD along with two airbags. The suspension setup has been reworked to give a more sporty ride and handling. The ground clearance has been lowered by 4mm.
Tata Motors Tiago JTP has priced at 6.39 lakh (ex-showroom), and the Tigor JTP has a price tag of 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Both JTP cars sport a premium price over the standard models which is roughly 1 to 1.2 lakh more.
